Striker Joel Chianese has signed a new deal to stay with Sydney FC until the end of next season.The 23-year-old has scored six goals in 16 games since making his debut in round 19 of the 2011-12 campaign.
He has had an injury-disrupted season this time around, but has been able to break back into the team in recent weeks.
Chianese, who played his early football with Blacktown City Demons, is delighted to earn the extended deal.
He said: "I'm happy here and feel settled and when they showed some interest and faith in me it was a pretty easy decision to stay.
