Heynckes sets trophy agenda - UEFA Competitions

Jupp-HeynckesJupp Heynckes says Bayern Munich's impressive charge to the Bundesliga title will count for nothing if they end the season without a major trophy.
The 67-year-old, now in his second spell with the Bavarian giants, has seen his side go 15 points clear at the summit in Germany in their efforts to dethrone back-to-back defending champions Borussia Dortmund.
They were beaten by the same opponents in the DFB Pokal and also lost the Champions League final on home soil to Chelsea on penalties in a gut-wrenching end to last season.
Now, Bayern head to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal on Tuesday determined to frank their devastating early-season form and make amends in Europe's marquee club competition.
Heynckes, a Champions League winner in 1998 who will be replaced by Pep Guardiola at the end of the season, knows he is under pressure to deliver. Bayern can be backed at 1.25 to qualify and 5.00 to win the Champions League.
