Agbonlahor targets City shock - free betting tips

Gabriel Agbonlahor admits the pressure is on Aston Villa to get a result against Manchester City on Today evening.

Bottom club QPR's win at Southampton lifted them to within four points of Villa, who are 18th in the table and now 1.83 to be relegated.

A win against City is a daunting task, and Villa were thrashed 5-0 in the reverse fixture in November. However, Agbonlahor is targeting a shock against the champions, which would provide a massive boost ahead of crucial upcoming fixtures against Reading and QPR.

Villa are 21.00 to win 2-1, while a goalless draw can be backed at 15.00.

"To get that home win (against West Ham) out of the way was good because it gave the whole team confidence," said the striker, who is 13.00 to score first on Monday.

"But now we're back in the bottom three after losing to Arsenal.

"We know that means we need results or we are not getting out of there.

"But if you see a lot of teams in the bottom half of the table, they will be looking over their back."

He added in the Birmingham Mail: "We just have to get our results."

Paul Lambert hopes to be able to call upon Ron Vlaar after the captain was forced to miss the Arsenal defeat with a calf injury, but Darren Bent is still struggling with a foot injury.
