Ivanovic urges Chelsea improvement - Bet on the FA Cup

Branislav Ivanovic says Chelsea must improve ahead of Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester United.

The Blues were lacklustre as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League on Thursday and are currently fourth in the Premier League. They take on United on Today at Old Trafford with an FA Cup semi-final spot at stake and Ivanovic admits the team need to change their attitude if they are to salvage their season.

"Time is running out. And if we want to change things we have to show more character and fighting spirit," said the defender.

"This team was in the same situation last year and we finished well. We have to be strong, stay together and try to finish the season at the highest level because from now on every game is going to be harder and harder.

"There are a lot of reasons why things have gone wrong but now is not the time to work out why, not the time to look behind us. We have to look forward."

Chelsea are 6.00 to win the FA Cup outright, while United can be backed at 2.87.
