Jones ruled out of title decider

Ryan-JonesWales will attempt to beat England at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Saturday without the services of Ryan Jones who has a shoulder injury.

The 31-year-old back-row picked up the injury during the 28-18 victory against Scotland at Murrayfield and has been ruled out of this weekend's crunch clash after having a scan on the problem.

Justin Tipuric replaced Jones at blind-side flanker against Scotland and now seems certain to take the number six shirt for the game, which Wales are 2.25 to win and England 1.72.

Defending Six Nations champions Wales will retain the title if they beat England by at least eight points this weekend. Wales are 4.00 to win the Six Nations title outright while England are available at 1.25.

There is some good injury news for Wales though as prop Gethin Jenkins, who missed the victory against Scotland with a calf problem, is on course to return to the team for the England game.

Interim Wales manager Rob Howley said: "The calf has improved over the last week and we're still hopeful that he will be fit for selection [against England]."

Meanwhile, Sam Warburton looks set to take the captain's armband for the final match of this season’s Six Nations campaign.
