Mancini urges focus - hot betting tips

roberto-manciniManchester City's players have been told to look at Barcelona's problems to put their own right.

The Blues face Aston Villa at Villa Park on Monday evening knowing anything but a victory will put rivals Manchester United even further on the road to title success. They are 8.00 to pull off a 2-1 win, and are 2.10 to keep a clean sheet.

Roberto Mancini's men are currently 15 points behind the Red Devils and 26.00 to retain their title, and the Italian has been scathing in his recent criticism of some individuals.

City will be wary of the threat posed by Paul Lambert's strugglers, having already dropped points against the likes of West Ham, Queens Park Rangers and Southampton this season.

The champions have since recorded back-to-back-wins against Leeds United, in the FA Cup, and last weekend against Chelsea, following that horror show against Saints.

But Mancini feels his team only have to see the recent defeats encountered by Barca to understand that they have to apply themselves correctly at all times.

The Etihad boss admits: "It's easy when you've won a game and everyone is saying 'well done' or 'you are the best'.

"But Messi and Barcelona are the best team but they are losing and sometimes in football it's impossible to win every game. We have to take responsibility."

Midfielder Gareth Barry faces a late fitness test on a twisted ankle against his former club.

Meanwhile, Man Utd welcome Real Madrid to Old Trafford on Tuesday 5th March with their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie in the balance - and we've got a fantastic free bet to add to the excitement.
