The big-spendng French Ligue 1 leaders, who have been heavily backed by their Qatari owners in the transfer market, were stunned away from home on Saturday ahead of Wednesday's last-16 second leg tie against Valencia at the Parc de Princes.

He said: "I don’t think the defeat to Reims will be a problem because everyone is focused on Europe.

"This competition is very important and we will be giving everything to try and win it."

Coach Carlo Ancelotti will be without star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who begins a two-match European ban handed down for his sending-off towards the end of the first leg, while Italian midfielder Marco Verratti is also banned.
