Roma host Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon

Rudi Garcia's side look to get back to winning ways after dropping their first points of the season last weekend against Torino.

The Giallorossi's record winning run was brought to an end by the Granata last week despite taking a first half lead through Kevin Strootman, but after the game Garcia insisted that he was satisfied with the point as a draw away from home is "never a bad result".

Daniele De Rossi was a little more circumspect, saying that it was not drawing with Torino that had disappointed the team but rather allowing Juventus and Napoli to gain two points on them in the title race.

While Juventus and Napoli have to face each other this weekend though, Roma have what appears on paper to be a straightforward game to pick up three points.

Sassuolo, coached by former Roma midfielder Eusebio Di Francesco, have found life in Serie A difficult since winning promotion but have improved in recent weeks. After being hammered 7-0 at home by Inter, the Neroverdi picked up a point against Napoli and Lazio, and have picked up seven points from their last four games.

Roma will have to be wary of Domenico Berardi who scored a hat-trick last week as well as his strike partner Antonio Floro Flores: in the three games that Floro Flores has scored against Roma, the Giallorossi have lost all of them.

To combat the front two, Roma welcome back Leandro Castan after his suspension but have lost Mehdi Benatia to a one-match ban, so Nicolas Burdisso should retain his place in the starting lineup.

The key question for Garcia is whether to continue with Miralem Pjanic up front and Michael Bradley in midfield, or to push Pjanic back into his more natural role and allow Adem Ljajic to start.
