Eto'o is coming to Chelsea after Mourinho

Chelsea continues to strengthen ahead of the UEFA Super Cup in Prague with Bayern Munich, Friday 30 august.

Having formalized the Brazilian Willian from Anzhi, for 35 million euros, Londoners are very close to perfect also the transfer of a striker. Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o election of Jose Mourinho, who coached Inter the season 2009-2010, the Italians have won the UEFA Champions League.

Six million will pay Chelsea to Anzhi for Eto'o transfer, who will sign an one year contract with the Londoners, which will have a salary of 4.6 million euros per season.

Player's agent revealed how Cameroonian striker could reach Mourinho's team: "Chelsea has a very clear policy, that not bring any player over 30 years. I spoke to Jose, he's willing to give Samuel a year contract, but Chelsea expects after Wayne Rooney. Mourinho has only him in the head and expects United to resolve the situation.

Samuel wants to return to football that counts. He believed in the project from Anzhi but suddenly, bosses came and say it's over. There is a terrible recession now and it's not just about a lower salary. It's hard to find a club willing to offer 8 or even 5 million per season.

And those of Inter are in a difficult situation. Eto'o would happily return there, but times are tough. Talk about it. Football is unpredictable, if Inter win at Genoa might forget about Inter. If they lose, the scenario changes completely. What I can guarantee is that Massimo Moratti and Inter remain in his heart, "said Claudio Vigorelli via

Tottenham look at fining Bale

Gareth Bale

Tottenham may fine Real Madrid objective Gareth Bale after he did not succeed to appear to training for a 2nd day , boss Andre Villas-Boas declared .

Spanish titans Real have created a global record £86m offer for the forward. Bale , 24 , was due back at training on Tuesday after an escape in Marbella.

"He is involved in a big transfer to Real Madrid and, if it happens, we wish him all the best, but the fact that he hasn't turned up is not the correct behaviour," claimed Villas-Boas.

"I gave the player the weekend off. Monday was a day off for the squad. It is up to the club now to decide if it's a fineable offence. I've given my opinion on it, it's up to them to decide whether they act on it or not."

Under procedures laid down by the Professional Footballers' Association , a player is able to only be charged 2 weeks' income , which in Bale's case would are around £160 ,000. Bale has not featured for Spurs or Wales this series because of a foot problems.

He was excluded Tottenham's squad for Thursday's Europa League 2nd leg against Dinamo Tbilisi but was called up by Wales for this month's World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Serbia . Bale was connected with Real all summer and Villas-Boas claims the record-breaking move "could happen very , very soon".

The ex- Chelsea manager added : "It is a dream move for him but I think in the end this could have happened in a different way . "At the moment, the two clubs are speaking. I suppose it could go to the last day or it could happen in next two days. But you wouldn't expect the biggest transfer in world football to happen easily."

Tottenham are hesitant to offer until they have finalized a substitute. They have been tied to Roma's £30m-rated Argentina forward Erik Lamela , however they skipped out on Brazil midfielder Willian , who joined Premier League rivals Chelsea.

"I have told you that we will continue re-strengthening the squad, so we are looking at different positions to make us stronger," said Villas-Boas. "In the next couple of days, we will have further news and I think we will see further additions at Tottenham."

Villas-Boas is also annoyed with England boss Roy Hodgson for not asking him before choosing Andros Townsend for international responsibility .

"I would like to give you a little bit more information but the fact (is) that I wasn't contacted in any way or form by Roy Hodgson regarding the player call-up. I would have preferred to give my opinion on the fact that he gets called up so soon." said Villas-Boas.

Hodgson gave call-ups to Steven Caulker and Tom Huddlestone for previous year's pleasant in Sweden , however they have not performed since , although Jake Livermore continues to be thrown away by England after only one cap . Villas-Boas concerns that Townsend might finish up in the same place.

"If there is continuity to the future of Andros in the national team, it's a great step for him," said Villas-Boas. If there is no continuity in the future, if his performances change in some way or if the player doesn't get involved in Tottenham and, in the end, he gets dried out, then it's a big surprise for me, because I think a player who gets called up for the national team after two games should have respect and continuity towards the future. So I assume from this moment that there will be that belief. I can recall, last season, we had Jake Livermore, Tom Huddlestone, Steven Caulker, called up for England. At the moment, it doesn't seem to have any continuity there." via

AC Milan’s legend: Franco Baresi interview PART I

Franco Baresi

If you need a head boy for the school of defending, Franco Baresi is probably your man. Wiry, rock hard and blessed with a disconcerting likeness to top Fender bender Mark Knopfler, Baresi was not as brutal as Gentile, nor as elegant as Scirea or Maldini, but he was the greatest antidote to the art of goal scoring the Itolian gome has ever produced. At least, until Luca Toni come along.

As anyone watching the game in the '80s and '90s will recall Baresi was inexorable Arm permanently held aloft like some footballing Caesar, he’d roam Milan and Italy's backline, arriving at the right spot bang on time to defuse any threat. As he puts it, he was "fast in the head". No one read the game like Franco, and no one organised a backline like him either; whether aligning coverage or marshalling his troops forward to spring the offside trap so beloved of Arrigo Sacchi’s Milan, the libero never seemed to put a foot wrong throughout his 20 years at the club.

As 5ft 10in you were relatively small for a control defender - did this make you work harder on your game?

I think my strong point was never my physique. I was a pretty fast player, but above all I was fast up here, in the head (taps head). That's what helped me a lot.

Is that something that con be taught?

Sadly not. Of course you con improve it, you can grow with experience, but it’s a natural thing.

Who were your heroes growing up?

Well, I was always a Milanista. And it was my great fortune to always play for Milan. At the start I liked [Gianni] Rivera, who I came to know and admire from up close. I even got the chance to play with him, which was a stroke of luck; he was at the end of his career, and I was at the beginning. Then I also liked players like [Pierino] Prati, [Roberto] Boninsegno, and [Gigi] Riva - all great champions.

But these are all forwards or midfietd players.

Oh.Well, defenders. I liked people like Rudi Krol - that kind of elegant, considered defender, who liked to play football as well as defend.

You were rejected by Inter as a teenager, while your brother was taken on. How did this make you feel? Did it make you even more determined to succeed?

No, what happened was that my brother was already with Inter - he’s older than me. I wanted to follow him so I had a trial first with Inter, and they said, "Well, come bock next year". But my coach took me to Milan, and there I was accepted, although it took a couple of trials. They were worried about my size; that I wouldn't grow much or toughen up. I was only 14 at the time.

Has the rivalry between Milan and Inter ever caused any problems or animasity between you ond your brother?

Oh no. No. absolutely not! [Laughs]. No between us there was lots of friendship and a mutual esteem. No problems.

Now did the early passing of your parents mould you as a character substitute family for you?

Well, we had to roll up our sleeves and grow up quickly. My brother ond I both wanted to make something of ourselves through this sport that we some luck and some help, but above all, our character helped us a lot in this. And yes, Milan became like o second family to me -I used to spend all my free time with them.

As someone who was a ‘one-club man’, ore you disappointed by the apparent lack of loyalty shown by players these days?

No. these are different times. These days there are far more presses and interests in football, far more opportunities to change, so it's unlikely well see onother Maldini who sticks around for 20 years. You can’t compare those days with now.

I heard that when you were In Milan's youth team you used to hide to avoid bumping into senior players like Albertosi, Rivera and Morini. Why was that? Did they ever beat you up or steal your lunch money?

[Laughs] No! I was shy though. At the start, when I was just 14, and i saw all the big Milan stars, they seemed like... from another planet. But I didn’t hide. I did try and avoid crossing their paths, just because they seemed untouchable, unapproachable.

Later, when were a senior player, did you see youngsters taking the same line with you?

Well, yes, a few years back there may have been some nervous youngsters, but not now. These days, they're not shy at all. Kids now are much more switched on and mature than we used to be.

You became Milan captain at 22. What was the hardest part about being such a young skipper? Did any older players give you any problems and how did you deal with it?

I didn't have problems. It was unusual to become captain so early, but it was an unusual situation; Milan in 1982 got sent down to Serie B. so they made me captain straightaway. They wanted to rebuild the side and base it around me.

You refused to play at the World Cup in Mexico in 1986 in protest at not playing a part four years earlier, wfien Italy won the competition. Was that the sole reason? Looking back, do you feel you were being unreasonable?

No. (the then Italian manager Enzo) Bearzot didn't call me up. There was a technical question - we had different points of view. Back then he wanted to use me as a midfielder, and i didn't feel at ease with that after so long playing at the back, so he picked someone else. Do you regret it now? Well, even if I’d gone, I wouldn’t have played. My choice would have been to be either the reserve for Scirea or a midfielder. I always respected Bearzot, though: he was one of the greats, and I'm grateful to him because it was he who gave me my start internationally.

Many consider the Milan defence of yourself, Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Costacurta and Mauro Tassotti to be one of the best backlines in history. Where do you feel it ranks compared to other great defences; for example, the Arsenal back four in the 1990s?

[Baresi has to have the Arsenal reference explained to him. Afterwards, he replies with a knowing twinkle in his eye] Oh! Well, they were better than that Milan line of ours! We were more like a bunch of Brazilians! So who would you pick as the best backline then? A different group: Juve’s line up of the early '80s - [Antonio] Cabrini, [Claudio] Gentile, [Gaetano] Scirea. They had a completely different style and all won the World Cup with Italy in 1982. via

capital one cup

The first round of this season’s Capital One Cup continued where last year’s tournament left off. Drama, shocks and controversy were found at every turn – and we can expect more of the same next week, when the big boys of the Premier League enter the fray.

Three weeks ago, ahead of the opening round of the 2013-14 Capital One Cup,we picked out a selection of the headline ties. Near the top of that particular list was a return to the competition, after a quarter of a century away, for Newport County.

“A glamour tie away against Championship big dogs Brighton should serve as a very special reminder to their fans that Newport are very much back in business,” we wrote – but that was only the half of it. In a dramatic night on the south coast, the Exiles came from a goal behind to snatch a late equaliser, before going on to win 3-1 in extra time against a Brighton side reduced to 10 men. An absolute treat for the fans who had made the long trip across from south Wales, and another sensational result in a competition that continues to shock and amaze in equal measure.

A look through the rest of the first-round results merely serves to prove the point. Newport’s huge win came on the same night that Morecambe and Accrington dumped out Wolves and Middlesbrough respectively, and only 24 hours after Preston saw off Blackpool in a feisty local encounter that had Seasiders manager Paul Ince spitting feathers.

So what of the second round, which takes place across next Tuesday and Wednesday? The arrival on the scene of the majority of the Premier League clubs offers yet more opportunity for upsets. Newport’s reward for putting out Brighton is a trip to one of those Premier League clubs, as they face West Brom at the Hawthorns on Tuesday evening. The following night, Accrington host top-flight new boys Cardiff (themselves the subject of a giantkilling at Northampton last season), while Morecambe host Newcastle in the live Sky game.

There are yet more local derbies for fans to get their teeth into, with Preston travelling to Burnley and Doncaster playing host to Leeds. Perhaps the most interesting tie of the round, however, is the live game on Tuesday evening. Liverpool, their failure to qualify for Europe leading to a rare secondround entry into the Capital One Cup, face a visit from the oldest football club in the world, Notts County. The eight-time winners may have lifted the cup as recently as 2012, but they are not immune to falling prey to the so-called underdogs. They were beaten at home by eventual winners Swansea only last season, while in 2010 future England manager Roy Hodgson could only stand and weep as the Reds went out on penalties to Northampton.

Liverpool will start as massive favourites, of course, but this is the Capital One Cup... and if we have learned only one thing from this competition in the past 12 months, it’s that anything really can happen.

Arsenal FC need suffered a irritating summer on the transfer front , but , after a powerful finish to 2012/13 and with Jack Wilshere fit , expectations of a 16th consecutive UEFA Champions League campaign are large.

Arsène Wenger's team go to Istanbul on Wednesday to meet Fenerbahçe SK in the 1st leg of the play-offs , trying to obtain a big step regarding maintaining a proud score .Together with Manchester United FC ( planning their 18th successive group stage ) and Real Madrid CF ( 17th ), Arsenal are certainly one of just 3 clubs ever-present in Europe's best club competition this century .

Wenger was at the helm all through as he goes into his 18th season at Arsenal – his addiction , a club as near his heart as it is his first name . However it is often a complex summer , with the manager's affirmation that "we will be active" in the transfer market thus far unrealised . To date the club have got included just 20-year-old striker Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer from AJ Auxerre .

Essentially , however , Wenger has not needed to handle a high-profile departure each – Robin van Persie , Alex Song and Cesc Fàbregas all left over the last 2 summers .Additionally there is momentum from their form finally of previous season , which Arsenal finished 11 games unbeaten , and the fact that midfield keystone Wilshere has enjoyed his 1st injury-free pre-season since 2010 .

The England midfielder , nevertheless not 100% fit based on Wenger , is desirous to make an idea . "We feel we have a great squad , as we showed towards the end of last season , when we went 11 games unbeaten ," he told Sport magazine . "If we can reproduce that form then we have a chance . When we had to get results , we went out there and got them , and that's what we need to take into this season .

"Arsenal used to be a team that won everything – trophies and titles , but now we haven't won anything for eight years , so we know what we have to do . It is time to start producing trophies and being closer to the top of the league at the end of the season . We don't just want to be fighting for fourth place – we want to be up there with the likes of Chelsea , Manchester City and Manchester United . We feel we are good enough to be there ."

Objects failed to begin properly , but , with the Gunners starting their Premier League campaign with a 3-1 home beat by Aston Villa FC on Saturday . They might minimumdraw a positive outlook from the point that they prevailed in their 2 former play-offs , against Celtic FC in 2009/10 and Udinese Calcio the season before previous , andregardless of the absence of the injured Thomas Vermaelen they are going to be assured of constructing it 3 . In fact , this really is the Arsenal team that gave all-conquering FC Bayern München a huge scare last term – pretty much to a man .

Play-offs, Wednesday 21.08.201:

Fenerbahce 19:45 Arsenal

Dinamo Zagreb 19:45 Austria Wien

Schalke 19:45 PAOK

Ludodorets 19:45 Basel

football respect

Football is amazing game, uniting billions of people. There's no other sport which could compete with football in terms of popularity.

I think every kid has at least once in his life played football with his friends on street till late night. For some people football stays in their memory because of childhood days, for some it's just a passion and a chance to feel amazing emotions. For some, football is a lifetime chance to change their lives. Run away from poverty and bring some hope for their families.

If we talk about football clubs and players, then I can't really understand this lack of respect nowadays. It's normal to insult even the most famous players and clubs, calling them "useless" or simply "a piece of shit". Looks like some kind of nonsense, doesn't? I fully understand that role of football has slightly changed in last 20 years and there exists a category of "overpaid" or 'overrate" footballers. There are such but is that their fault? Not everyone is capable to handle the weight of wealth and worldwide fame. That's all because we all are a human beings. You may insult someone, but is that the best thing to do? 99.9% of such insults comes from people who simply feel jealous. That's wrong.

Same goes about football clubs. Now it's normal to call Manchester City, Pans Saint-Germain of Monaco a money bags" without history and any achievements. I find this also wrong. Can you name any financially weak and poor football club, which have won any of top leagues or UEFA Champions League? There's no such clubs. Football always had and will have rich and poor clubs. Without serious financial investments, it’s impossible to achieve any serious results. Impossible. That's why I feel calm about clubs, like PSG or Monaco. Yes, they invest a lot of money in short period but what else can they do? Real Madrid doesn't invest? Manchester United doesn't invest? Any other top club doesn't invest? They all invest. Only difference is that Real Madrid and Manchester United invests that money for years but clubs, like PSG do that just in last few seasons. It's so simple and it's so silly that people doesn't want to see that.

It would be nice to see more respect in football. Between fans, between footballers and clubs, here are thousands of wonderful stories related to footbalI. Just take a look at some of the football legends, their way to the glory. You can find some real inspiration there. You can find faith in something good.

2013/14 season has already started. New season, new expectations. Probably, also new scandalous moments will appear. But I hope that there wili be more positive moments, than negative. I could write a lot about my attitude to football and everything related to this game, but my message is simply. New season has started, just share more respect and love to each other. Remember that famous quote – “Let's make love, not war"? So true. Even if we talk about football, RESPECT! via

Matej Vydra has joined West Brom on a season-long loan from Udinese

matej vydra

The 21 year-old earned the Championship Player of the Year title at the Football League Awards.

The Czech Republic striker scored 20 league goals during loan at Watford previous season to guide them to 3rd in the Championship and get to the play-off final.

Albion have made a offer to bring him back to England on equivalent terms. Gianfranco Zola claimed last month he had not thrown out believe of re-signing Vydra, however striker continues to be linked with many Premier League clubs and Albion are the first to show their hand . Steve Clarke has already imported one striker this summer in Nicolas Anelka , but Romelu Lukaku is back at Chelsea following the end of his loan spell and Peter Odemwingie is a objective for Al Nasr of Dubai.

Vydra would be eager to play in the Premier League throughout the upcoming campaign following his amazing previous season at Vicarage Road.

Questioned if he would like to be placed on his way to the English highest flight before the transfer range closes , Vydra told : "It would be my dream . I would like to play in that competition. I have not been thinking about specific clubs because there has not been anything. After the international friendly (on 14th August) I would like to move on finally."

Vydra admits a transfer this late in the window might be not even close to ideal , however he is actually hesitant to remain in Italy in which he discovers himself some way down the attacking pecking request : "I know it's not ideal because the leagues are starting this week or the next weekend. I would come in as a new player without having spent pre-season preparation with the team and that would make my position more difficult at the beginning. If someone does sign me, hopefully they would want me to play. Training here has been the same as it would have been somewhere else. In the next few days it should be resolved."

The West Brom manager, Steve Clarke: "I’m delighted to welcome Matej to the club. He had a really good year with Watford and we believe he’s got the qualities to score goals at a higher level. Hopefully, he’ll show that this year with us. We had Matej watched throughout last season. As well as some excellent scouting reports, we had some really good feedback from within Watford about Matej as both a player and person. I’ve said previously we’re a bit light in the forward areas and Matej will increase competition for places. He’s another good quality striker to add to the other three senior forwards we have here. Top scorers in the Premier League 2012-13

top scorers premier league 2012 13

Analysis of the Premier League's top scorers showing how they finished the last season, 2012-13.

Van Persie started his United account in his 2nd Premier League game for the club, scoring in a 3-2 score against Fulham.

The Netherlands international, 30, finished an eight-year stay at Arsenal last August to transfer north to Manchester United in a £24m contract.

An extra 25 goals followed - such as hat-tricks against Southampton and Aston Villa - to encourage United to a 20th top-flight title.

Shearer's conclusion: "Robin van Persie is a very productive player. Notice there are a few shots from outside the area. But inside he's got the lot: he's skilful, he's pacy, he'll run in behind, he'll score spectacular goals, he'll score tap-ins, he'll score headers, he'll score all sorts of goals. It helps that he plays in a team that creates chances for him week in, week out. But he's rewarded them by putting the vast majority away. His volleyed goal against Aston Villa was my goal of the season ."

Van Persie decided to use shirt number 20 at United last season because he wanted to help them win a 20th league title .

Suarez was in blistering form from the beginning, scoring 10 goals in Liverpool's first 12 league games, however although he might perform no wrong in front of goal, his season was not without disagreement.

The 26-year-old Uruguay international striker's 3rd season at Liverpool was proficiently his most useful as he completed the mission with 30 goals in all competitions .

On 6 January , he controlled the ball before scoring as Liverpool beat Mansfield 2-1 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup , before he received a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in a 2-2 get at Anfield on 21 April .

In spite of his misdemeanours , Suarez's undoubted ability in front of goal indicates he is actually a striker desired this summer , with Arsenal seemingly the highest trying to sign him .

Shearer's outcome: "He's a very different player to Van Persie. With Luis, you'll see him try a lot more dribbles, both inside the area and outside. Technically speaking a lot of people think that when he does these little dribbles that the ball ricochets to him and he's a little bit fortunate. But it's not luck, it's because he's so clever and so good at dribbling with the ball close to his feet ."

Whenever Suarez accrued a hat-trick in a 4-0 gain against Wigan on 2 March , he started to be just the 3rd Liverpool player - after Robbie Fowler and Fernando Torres - to record 20 Premier League goals in a season.

Christian Benteke's form was among the very few brilliant spots in an otherwise forgettable season for Aston Villa. Benteke signed up from Genk in arrangement supposedly worth £7m on transfer deadline day in August a year ago and, after scoring on his introduction - a 2-0 home win over Swansea, he found goals difficult to get, scoring just 4 extra in the league before the finish of the year .

Nevertheless, his form in the 2nd half of the season acquired significantly as he scored 14 goals in 17 games to encourage Villa keep their Premier League level.

Shearer's conclusion : "He's a bully and I really enjoyed watching him progress last season . In one or two of the early games you could see he was new to the Premier League , but by the end of the season he was knocking defenders off the ball to score all types of goals . His graph shows he had the fewest number of shots but he still scored 19 goals, which indicates great efficiency. And not bad considering he was playing in a struggling side ."

The striker fell just one short of equalling Peter Withe's record of 20 goals in the top flight for Villa, set in the 1980-81 season.

Michu was Shearer's deal buy of last season after a greatly amazing initial year in English soccer .

Owning wasted most of his career in the Spanish lower leagues, he trapped Swansea's eye by scoring 15 goals in 37 games for Rayo Vallecano in his first La Liga season, and was agreed upon for only £2.2m.

Utilised as a ahead instead of an attacking midfielder, declared his Premier League appearance with a brace on his debut - a 5-0 win against Queens Park Rangers.

Michu scored in the club's next two games and continued to discover the back of the net on a consistent schedule, completing the season with 18 league goals.

Shearer's verdict: "This graph emphasises how different these players are. It's clearly not Michu's forte to shoot from outside the box. His strength is in and around the area , drifting away from players , being in the right space at the right time . But once you're in that place you've got to finish off, and there's a million guys that can be in the right place at the right time but not all of them can put it away. This guy can, which is why he was the bargain of the season ."

All but one of Michu's 18 league goals were scored from inside the box.

Gareth Bale, the Wales international enjoyed a different great campaign for Tottenham improving his popularity as one of the best footballers in the world.

Approved the independence of the pitch by manager Andre Villas-Boas , the 24-year-old reached 21 goals in 34 Premier League games on his way to claiming a clean sweep of the end-of-season rewards.

Bale frequently shown up to single-handedly pull his crew to victory, with highlights |like an unstoppable burst by the Manchester United defence in a gripping 3-2 victory at Old Trafford and his stunning permanent injury-time champion at West Ham.

Regardless of his initiatives, Spurs were narrowly defeated to Champions League qualification by north London rivals Arsenal . Without the allure of Europe's premier club competition, supposition has grown that he could make a record-breaking summer transfer to Real Madrid .

Shearer's verdict : "It seemed that every week working on Match of the Day we'd be talking about a Bale wonder goal . But he's different from the others, inasmuch as he's more keen on taking pot shots . Everyone knows how strong his left-foot shot is, but it's one thing knowing about it and it's another thing stopping it. Some coaches think you should try to stop him from cutting inside from that right side on to his left foot, but I think that's virtually impossible. When he's running at that pace, you can't stop him ."

Bale scored 9 winning goals in the Premier League season 2012-13, better than any other player. via

The Top 3 Mixed Martial Arts Betting Strategies - Don't Bet Again Until You Read This!

Mixed martial arts is a fast growing sport, but the amount of information about betting on mixed martial arts is very scarce. As a professional sports bettor I've learned the ins and outs of mixed martial arts betting in the past 6 months, and I have come up with three betting strategies that are very successful, and will help you profit every year.

Underdog betting

Betting on underdogs has always been a great strategy in sports betting, and in mixed martial arts this strategy is even more successful. In high profile fights, such as large UFC bouts, the underdog is always undervalued and a great bet. Stay away from large favorites, and you'll be in a great spot to profit.

Bet against the public

The majority of sports bettors lose money, so betting against them is always a great idea in sports. In mixed martial arts betting, this also works very well because the sport is so new to the mainstream. Many new bettors are jumping at the chance to bet on fights, and they really have no idea what they're doing. If you want to make some good money with MMA, make sure you are not betting on the same fighters that the general public is as well.

System betting

Betting systems are a crucial part of most professional bettors strategies. Systems are based on certain situations and instances that happen over and over again. Developing a system is very easy in sports such as basketball, which have lots of games every season and you can spot trends pretty easily. In mixed martial arts this is not as easy to do, but systems can be developed. Some guys fight better against certain styles of fighting than others, and you should always pay attention to this when making a system.

Overall, these are my three favorite strategies for betting on mixed martial arts. Implement them into your own betting style and I think it will help you increase your profits in MMA betting.

Fenerbahce back in Champions League draw after appeal

fenerbahce champions leagueTurkish champions Fenerbahce were drawn against Salzburg in the Champions League third qualifying round after their two year European ban for match fixing was temporarily lifted.

Fenerbahce and fellow Turkish club Besiktas, who have qualified for the Europa League, were handed European bans earlier this year after a protracted UEFA inquiry following a domestic match-fixing scandal in 2011.

Fenerbahce were banned for two years and Besiktas one by European soccer’s governing body UEFA. Both appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), who lifted the bans until a final decision is taken.

CAS said the final decision on Fenerbahce will be issued before August 28, one day before the draw for the Champions League group stage takes place in Monaco.

UEFA could be left with a headache it Fenerbahce beat Salzburg, win the next qualifying round tie and then lose their appeal at CAS. via
