Leonardo relishing Barca test - Bet on Champions League

Leonardo has predicted "a celebration of football" when Paris Saint-Germain take on Barcelona in a Champions League last-eight double header.

The French powerhouses emerged top of Group A ahead of FC Porto and on Wednesday came through a difficult round of 16 assignment against Valencia to go through to the quarter-finals 3-2 on aggregate.

It means the Ligue 1 title-chasers now face the unenviable task of denying Barcelona a place in the last four. PSG are quoted 41.00 to win Europe's elite club competition, with the runaway La Liga leaders priced 2.50.

PSG sporting director Leonardo added: "It is the most difficult draw against the best team in the competition. It won't be easy, but we are looking forward to it because Paris deserves to be part of what will be a celebration of football. We can measure ourselves against one of the greatest sides of all time. Barcelona are red-hot favourites, but anything can happen."

Barca clinically overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit to thump AC Milan 4-0 at Camp Nou in midweek, but two-time competition winner Carlo Ancelotti warned his players will not roll over.

"It's magnificent, we are delighted with the draw," he said. "We know it will be very difficult, but this will be a great test for us. Along with Real Madrid, they are competition favourites. They just have so many qualities - but we'll have our say."
